Majestic Fairy Face
Like most fantasy makeup pieces we do, we had to cover up the eyebrows. You can either use spirit gum and molding wax or a child’s washable glue stick.
We used the glue stick method as the molding wax we bought was junk! Click here for a tutorial on both methods.
We applied the white Ben Nye cream concentrating on the nose and eyes and blending outwards. To apply it smoothly use a Blending Medium
to give it a creamy consistency.
Next, we used a yellow Ben Nye cream and much like the white, we used a Blending Medium
. This time we used it to contour the outer perimeters of the face.
Going over the yellow and white we added the pink designs on the forehead, eyes and cheeks.
Then using a purple we blended the outer corner of the eyes into the pink.
Set the cream with a matching eyeshadow. We used a pearl or opalescent to create a glowing, metallic effect.
Going back to the yellow we contoured the bridge of the nose and inner eyebrows.
We used loose rhinestones from a local craft store and used eyelash adhesive to attach them.
We finished it off by using the same yellow Ben Nye face cream on the lips.
